Charter Line Alumnae of Mu Pi DST Collection

On October 26, 1975 the Mu Pi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., was founded by 11 members of the charter line. Upon its chartering, Mu Pi became the first Black sorority at the University of Delaware. Over the years since the first pledge class, the Mu Pi chapter has increased in numbers and is still active today. Within this collection you will find memorabilia and paper documents related to the charter line and the chartering of the sorority as well as an audio recording, correspondence, photographs, a scrapbook, publications, reports, and much more.
