The Pestalozzi Literary Society
The Pestalozzi Literary Society, originated by 9 female students of Delaware College, was founded on November 10, 1876. Within this society, operating for only 10 years from 1876-1886, members would meet in the afternoon each week to enjoy literary and social programs. Each month of the academic school year, the society produced a publication titled “No Name”. Within this collection you will find copies of the literary publication “No Name,” catalogues, a president’s book, secretary’s book, treasurer’s book, librarian’s books, and a bound volume.
